Start planning for your retirement with an IRA at your credit union. We offer Traditional and Roth IRA’s and Coverdell Education Savings Accounts, as well as IRA Certificates, to give your money a good head-start. Choose the IRA plan that best suits your financial needs.
IRA Share Certificates
We offer IRA Share Certificates with terms of 12 to 60 months. Rates may change weekly and are the same as our Regular Share Certificate rates. Dividends on IRA Share Certificates are posted to the IRA Accumulation Account. Call our IRA specialist at (814) 899-6608 for more information.
Coverdell Education Savings Account
This account (formerly known as an Education IRA) is designed to assist parents and others to save for a child’s education. While contributions** to this type of Account are not tax deductible, the earnings grow tax deferred and have the potential to be withdrawn tax free. This account can only be used for education expenses such as tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required for the enrollment or attendance of a designated beneficiary at an eligible education institution.
**All contribution limits are federally regulated and are based upon modified adjusted gross income.
