Is college or a technical school in your future?
College is a big investment. We can help you manage your educational finances and eliminate much of the confusion surrounding college education costs.
Grants, savings or scholarships are not always enough to pay for higher education. A student loan can make the costs associated with college, business, vocational, technical, nursing, and any other approved types of educational institution more affordable.
Americo FCU participates in the AES/PHEAA* Stafford Loan and Parent PLUS Loan programs.
FAFSA
Free Application for Federal Student Aid - If you are seeking financial assistance from the federal government, you must fill out a FAFSA form before you can apply for any PHEAA loans. The information from your FAFSA will be shared with the federal government, the school you are attending and PHEAA to ensure you receive the most comprehensive student aid package based on your financial need. You can complete the FAFSA form online.
AES / PHEAA LOANS*
We participate in the AES / PHEAA Stafford Student Loan and Parent-Plus programs. A student loan can make the costs associated with college, business, vocational, technical, nursing, and any other approved types of educational institutions more affordable. The Keystone Rewards Program is also available for those who qualify. We can provide you with the applications, and review your application to make sure that all the necessary information is complete.
